Questions without options’ from November/December 2023 CAIIB examination
Useful Information for Candidates:
- Introduction of New Question Type: Starting from the June 2023 CAIIB examinations, a new question type called “Questions without options” has been introduced in the CAIIB examination. This new question type will be included in all four compulsory subjects of CAIIB from the November/December 2023 examinations onwards.
- Subjects Affected: The new question type will be introduced in the following subjects:
- Advanced Bank Management (ABM)
- Bank Financial Management (BFM)
- Advanced Business & Financial Management (ABFM)
- Banking Regulations & Business Laws (BRBL)
- Guidelines for Answering:
- These questions will not be in the multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. Instead, candidates will be required to key in their answers directly.
- Each question will carry one mark, like other questions.
- Candidates must use the virtual keyboard provided in the system to key in numbers and signs.
- The questions will be numerical in nature or have numerals as the answer.
- Candidates must key in numbers (0 to 9) along with the appropriate prefix. If the answer is negative, it should be preceded by a ‘-‘ sign.
- For decimal answers, candidates must key in the required number of digits after the decimal point.
- No alphabet or other characters like comma (,), underscore (_), or hyphen (-) will be accepted.
- After keying in the response, candidates must click the “Save” button to ensure their answer is saved. Failure to do so will result in the response being considered as “not attempted”.
